Kris Sorbie, Redken’s Global Artistic Director of Color, is a world-renowned leader in cutting edge hair color concepts and techniques.  Her accolades include “International Hairdresser of the Year” at the 2004 and 2005 Canadian Mirror Awards, “Best Salon Education Program” at the ABBIE Awards, and “Best Educator of the Year” at the HairColor USA Awards.  A five-time nominee of the prestigious North American Hairdresser Award’s “Master Stylist” category, Kris breaks the mold time and time again to bring innovative trends and fashion forward artistry to the forefront of the salon industry.

Her work is instrumental in the development of core color techniques that are taught across the country and around the world, integrating her years of diverse experience as an art director, Color Consultant, video producer, and as a Redken Exchange Facilitator.

In her role as an Educator, Kris strives to help equip salon stylists with the tools and know-how to help them in their role behind the chair.  Her ability to translate fashion trends into profit potential in the salon paves the way towards living a better life both financially and artistically.
